One 2 One welcomes you to Quiz & Date, a brand new concept in dating events for singletons.
 Quiz & Date is a speed dating event and a quiz all rolled into one. Confused? You shouldn't be. It's really very simple, lots of fun and a great way to meet new people without the pressure of one-on-one speed dating.
As with our other speed dating events, Quiz & Date is open to all unattached people, whether single, separated, divorced or widowed. In order to attend, participants must prebook and buy their ticket before-hand. This is to ensure that we have an equal number of men and women on the night and to make sure we have everyone’s all-important contact details.
On the evening itself you will be welcomed by one of the One 2 One crew who will take your details and introduce you to your team-mates. The ladies will each be assigned to a same-sex team made up of around 3, and allocated a table. The gents will also be divided into groups of 3 and will rotate tables after each quiz round. Once everyone has registered we will hold some ice-breaker games to help people relax and then it’ll be time to start the quiz. There will be a minimum of 40 participants, so the event will last about 2 hours – plenty of time to get to know each team!
The quiz is divided into different sections with questions on song lyrics, soap operas, current affairs, general knowledge, sports, films and various others. Don’t worry about the difficulty of the questions, we want all of you to feel relaxed and to have a fun time, so what we compile won’t be stuff only Stephen Hawkins can answer!
 At the end of each round the tables hand in their answers for that section, and the guys move onto the next table. Throughout the evening there are breaks at regular intervals that give participants the chance to mingle, chat and refresh their drinks. This is also a good opportunity to fill in the all-important Match cards, and to make some notes about the dates themselves so that at a later point it is easy to remember who it was that made that great impression…
Once the quiz is over and the results have been compiled, the winning ladies team will be awarded their prize and get to share it with the male team they think helped them the most!
At the end of the night everyone must hand in their Match cards and most people stay for a few drinks with the other participants they’ve just met. This is a great part of the evening and many friendships are formed on the back of it, so staying on for this is strongly recommended. It also gives you the chance to consolidate those friendships you’ve just made…
 To make things easier for you One 2 One can arrange for floral arrangements to be delivered to those that catch your eye. The flowers can be anonymous or accompanied by a handwritten note.
Within the next few days One 2 One will let participants know who they’ve been matched with, and the rest is up to them. Speed dating has proven to be quite successful, with approximately half of all participants coming away with a potential match, although at our last event 92% of participants had one or more matches! Where else can singletons get such an opportunity to meet so many potential friends and matches in a safe, risk-free environment, and check out that vital chemistry before taking things further?
